Event to mark Lithuania's Accession to NATO |

White House invites Lithuanians to historic eventMarch 29, at 3:30 pm, the White House will celebrate the admission of Bulgaria, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Slovakia, and Slovenia as members of NATO. President George Bush will address the guests. The Secretary General of NATO, J. de Hoop Scheffer, will attend the event as will the prime ministers of all the new NATO members, including Lithuania's Algirdas Brazauskas, members of Congress and of the Bush Administration, and the press. The event will take place on the South Lawn of the White House and we're invited! In order to attend the event you must reserve a ticket by noon (EST) Sunday, March 28, with the Lithuanian-American Community, Inc., or with the Lithuanian Embassy. You must be at the gate to
